Food & Wine // Railway Volcanic Tour

This tour combines the travel on an ancient and unique railway, the visit of volcanic wineries (wine and food tasting, visit to the vineyards and cellars), and visits of the medieval towns of Randazzo, Castiglione and Taormina (according to the total duration of the chosen tour). The railway service starts in Catania and terminates in Randazzo (duration is 2 hours) and also starts in Giarre to terminate in Randazzo. The railway is peerless, connecting the small towns surrounding Mt. Etna, the highest active volcano in Europe. The view is just incomparable and scenic.

According to the duration of the tour, we will plan several stops to visit different towns and wineries. The return to the lodge will be made by car (or by train if preferred). There will always be a private car attending at the railway station to drive you to the town and winery.

The tour can include a visit to the top of Mt. Etna, the highest volcano in Europe, according to the chosen duration of the tour.
